The best single upgrade for your bike is its wheels. The mass of a wheel is multiplied by up to three due to its rotational mass. What this means for you is that for every gram you save on your wheels it is the same as saving three grams anywhere else.

Remember a hand built wheel will always be stronger than a factory built wheel. The tolerances that are worked to are far more precise.
